How do I replace the Brother DCP-L5500DN toner cartridge on my printer?

• Open the printer.
• Lower the front cover to open it.
• Use the handles to pull out the toner cartridge and the toner cartridge unit.
• Press the green locking lever to pull the toner cartridge out of the toner cartridge unit.
• Get new Linford Brother 5500DN toner. Open the toner cartridge over a sink or trash can to avoid any mess if the powder leaks, as sometimes factories tend to overfill the cartridge. Avoid touching the bottom of the toner and then remove the usually brightly colored covering tape and plastic protective case (if any) before installing.
• Insert the Brother L5500DN toner into the cartridge unit until it clicks into place.
• Slide the green tab to the side several times. This will clean the wires inside the photoconductor unit.
• Install the Brother L5500DN toner into the appropriate slot. Push it in until it clicks into place.
• Lift the front cover of the machine to close it.
