Canon MF445dw Toner Replacement Guide
- Open the front access door by pressing the release button on the right side of the printer.
- Carefully pull the toner cartridge to be replaced out of the printer.
- Obtain a new CompAndSave Canon MF445dw toner cartridge and open the toner cartridge over a sink or trash can to avoid a mess if the powder leaks, as sometimes the factory tends to fill up the toner cartridge. Shake the toner five to six times to avoid touching the bottom of the toner, and then remove the usually brightly colored covering tape as well as the plastic protective case, if any, before installing.
- Carefully align and insert the new Canon MF445dw cartridge into the slot until it is firmly seated.
- Close the front access door.
Canon imageCLASS MF445dw Toner Cartridge FAQs
Is it worthwhile to refill the toner?
Despite the environmental benefits of refilling the toner, refilling the toner cartridge may cause some printing problems because some parts of the toner wear out over time. This is why we strongly recommend that you replace all empty toner cartridges to avoid any problems. CompAndSave offers a wide range of ink and toner cartridges that are comparable to OEM quality, but at a more affordable price.
Can I use generic toner cartridges?
Absolutely! Linford's universal, compatible, replacement or remanufactured toner cartridges are designed to meet or exceed OEM specifications. This means that you get the same print quality and print quantity without paying more compared to genuine Canon toner cartridges. In addition, the use of generic toner cartridges will never void your printer's warranty. So you can buy and use our toner cartridges with confidence. Why is OEM toner so expensive?
OEM ink and toner manufacturers claim that the high cost of toner cartridges is due to the research and development of the technology that delivers high quality ink and toner. However, it is worth noting that some generic cartridges exceed OEM requirements while being cheaper than comparable cartridges. CompAndSave's compatible and replacement ink and toner cartridges are carefully designed to meet or exceed OEM standards. That means; you get the same print quality and page output without spending a lot of money.
