Remove the old cartridge and set it aside for recycling.
Unwrap the new HP 902 cartridge and remove the protective plastic strip from the contacts.
Slide the new cartridge into the slot where the old one was. Ensure the right orientation by comparing it to the other cartridges.
Gently push down until it clicks into place and aligns with the other cartridges.
Close the scanner unit.
Wait a few seconds for your OfficeJet Pro 6968 to recognize the new cartridge.
